ABOUT THIS TRAINING

This is time just for you! Deepen your skills and intuition for effective learning design in a retreat setting with opportunities for digging deep into your craft with appreciative feedback from other advanced practitioners.

What will you learn?

This training is highly customized based on who is in the room. The majority of the time is spent in a group coaching session, workshopping each others designs with feedback from facilitator(s) and fellow practitioners.

Facilitator(s) will also offer mini lessons on key components of a learning-centered approach to help you take your design to the next level. The topics for those mini lessons will be determined by our learning needs and resources assessment in advance of the retreat.

What else do you need to know?

  • Come with a draft design that you would like to workshop
  • Pre-requisites: Complete 1 design course (i.e. Foundations of Dialogue Education, Intentional Design, Quick Guide to Online Learning Design, or Conferences and Convenings Re-imagined)

In-Person

  • 2 or 3 day workshop at a retreat center, including group coaching and mini lessons on content of interest

All prices listed are the estimated cost per person, prices vary depending on a number of factors (e.g. in-person locations, level of customization, number of facilitators, etc.). To ensure that our trainings are inclusive and accessible, we can usually offer discounted pricing for non-profits, education and faith-based organizations, and organizations with financial need. Reach out to us to work something out.
