Sylvia Saenger is a technology lover, software developer, educator, and visionary with over 20 years of experience. Her passion is learning transfer, “getting the learning into your bones” as she likes to say. Sylvia developed Learning Nuggets as a way to prompt learning slowly and incrementally over time, to think about and act on the learning, and feel supported in the learning journey. These Nuggets are the foundation of Paradigms to Practices, the company Sylvia co-founded.
Her experience includes as a corporate educator and software developer at IBM, Head of School at Follow the Child Montessori School, and teaches courses on how to raise resourceful and independent children and create connected, happy families at Cherish the Family.
In both her work and her life, Sylvia’s goals are to work with leadership development, faith-based projects, and children and families, injecting a little humor along the way.
Sylvia and her husband, Dan, live in North Carolina, USA, and are empty nesters with two adult children. As a family, they have spent the last 18 years traveling the country in their RV and visiting over 80 National Parks. Sylvia can often be found baking, learning, and spending time with family and friends.
