IBP first began collaborating with Global Learning Partners in 2016. As an organization that has learning and capacity development at the center of everything it does, it was particularly important to us to have a shared and powerful framework across the organization. We found that framework in Dialogue Education. Since 2016, GLP has trained 80 IBP staff in the Foundations of Dialogue Education, SURE-Fire meetings, intentional design, online learning, and learning evaluation. They have mentored our staff to become certified practitioners and teachers of the methodology. They have supported us to design critical internal and external learning events. And they have guided and supported our executive and leadership teams through team building and transitions. In short, they have been a key and valued partner to IBP, and have helped us transform our gatherings into spaces of empowerment, dialogue and deep learning.

As a purpose driven and values-based organization, we found great alignment with the learning-centered approaches of Dialogue Education. What we learned from GLP helped us be purposeful in our approaches to designing and facilitating learning.

From the very 1st course I took with GLP, I can still remember how it made me feel at the end of each day – Grateful! I was thankful for the time I had to learn and the loving, purposeful, and intentional way topics were covered. My learning journey took me through exploration, reflection, ah-ha moments, and thoughtful activities where I put what I learned into practice. They thought of everything, from the size of the room to the different setups, the drinks, snacks, and meals. The facilitators met any possible need. They made me feel safe to express and share anything that came up.

Now, I can collaborate and design specific trainings with GLP and bring these teachings to my team so that they will teach participants in a safe and supportive way. When we meet participants where they are, they feel valued and trusted as collaborative partners. In this way, we can strive to be a clinic of choice.
