Jo Romano is a Certified Dialogue Education Teacher with Global Learning Partners and a Certified Prevention Specialist providing technical assistance and tailored trainings steeped in adult learning theory focused on assessment, design, facilitation and evaluation. Jo’s goal is to have training participants love what they learn, and have a clear plan on how they will transfer the learning back at work and a defined impact for the change they seek. Jo is a community mobilizer and a mentor. She mentors Prevention professionals and community coalitions to develop and sustain successful research-based best practices in their programming and planning. She is a workforce development coach and trainer with 35 years of demonstrated expertise in leadership, team building, and conflict resolution. She has served diverse populations ranging from national, state and local non-profit agencies, to private companies, families, schools, youth and community collaboratives.
