Philip’s work is grounded in a deep belief that learning can strengthen people, transform organizations, and uplift entire communities when it is rooted in dignity, culture, and relationship. As a consultant, instructional designer, trainer, and HR/OD practitioner based in the Marianas, he creates learning spaces that honor the lived experiences of participants and invite reflection, dialogue, and meaningful action. His practice centers on culturally grounded, evidence-based approaches that support organizations across the Pacific in aligning people, culture, and performance.
Over the years, Philip has partnered with corporate, nonprofit, government, education, and healthcare organizations to design and facilitate learning experiences that build capacity, deepen leadership, and strengthen organizational systems. His work spans instructional design, eLearning development, workshop facilitation, performance consulting, and HR/OD interventions. Across these roles, he has witnessed the transformative impact of learning environments that are co-created, strengths-based, and responsive to the wisdom already present in communities. Dialogue Education resonates with his commitment to designing learning that is participatory, relational, and grounded in respect.
Philip holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Capital Development and a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. He is professionally certified in SHRM-CP, CPTP, CPHR®, CCBP®, CLDP®, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and his work is further shaped by training as a Grief Recovery Method Specialist, Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, and other behavioral health certifications. These experiences deepen his ability to support individuals and teams through change, transition, and growth with compassion and cultural sensitivity.
Born in Saipan and raised in the Philippines, Philip returned home to the Marianas in December 2021 with a renewed sense of purpose and connection to the islands that shaped him. His most enduring lessons come from the values of his family, his faith, and the cultural traditions that continue to ground his work — humility, reciprocity, and collective care. He now lives in Saipan, where he finds joy in community, the ocean, and the responsibility of contributing to the resilience and flourishing of the Pacific region he proudly calls home.
