Hunter Gatewood works with organizations and individual leaders to help them get better results by investing in healthy teams and an adaptive learning culture.  

He is a coach and instructor in managing change and developing leaders at all levels, and also manages professional learning networks in health care and the social sector. He specializes in supporting people who manage from the middle of their organization, particularly people in the complex worlds of health care and community health. 

His background is in social work for people with multiple complex needs, and systems redesign in healthcare through quality improvement and leadership networks, including at a Medicaid managed care organization in California. 

Client organizations include California Health Care Foundation, HealthForce Center at UCSF, JSI, the national School-Based Health Alliance, American Academy of Pediatrics, and California health care organizations including Venice Family Clinic, Community Clinic Association of LA County, and Health Plan of San Mateo.
