Hayley Myers is a philosopher: a deep lover of wisdom committed to discovering how our beliefs inform our practices. Growing up within the Chicagoland homeschool community, she was adopted into a learning-centered environment brimming with curiosity, engagement, and collaboration. Unbeknownst to her, several of her teachers were trained in Dialogue Education as a mechanism for transformative learning. Her flexible homeschool schedule also allowed her family to travel worldwide visiting missionaries across various cultures.
While attending Wheaton College, she was trained in D.E. by Dan Haase, CDET and found herself connected to a wide community of practitioners both across campus and through GLP. She now works on-campus supporting the Spiritual Formation & Leadership programs in their Divinity School, and inviting college students into learning-centered mentorship opportunities. Her ongoing question is: How do we teach (and learn) for transformation when the medium is the message?
She can usually be found reading at a library, laughing at a Crossfit gym, experimenting with habits, or challenging her siblings to a scrappy card game.
