Diala Nizar Al-Alami is an organizational development and capacity-building practitioner with over 30 years of experience working with civil society organizations, public institutions, and international development partners across the MENA region. Her work spans institutional strengthening, strategic planning, governance reform, and stakeholder engagement with civil society, public institutions, and international development partners. Diala has supported complex donor-funded programs with USAID, EU, Enabel, ILO, GIZ, and various NGOs—leading organizational assessments, facilitating participatory learning experiences, and designing tailored capacity-building interventions that promote sustainable and locally owned solutions.
Diala is certified in Project Management (PMP, PMD), Dialogue Education, and the ILO’s Approach to Inclusive Market Systems (AIMS). She is fluent in Arabic and English and is especially passionate about environmental sustainability, community resilience, and inclusive development. Whether working with government entities, grassroots organizations, or regional partners, she is committed to creating safe, engaging learning spaces that empower people to strengthen their own systems and drive meaningful change.
