Carlton Johnson, LCSW-A, MSW, is a community-rooted counselor, educator, and wellness designer dedicated to the liberation and flourishing of families. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Duke University and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Carlton’s work bridges neuroscience, trauma healing, and culturally grounded wellness. He helps families and practitioners create environments where well-being is accessible, authentic, and sustainable, where rest, connection, and care are daily practices rather than special occasions.

As a psychotherapist and facilitator, Carlton offers therapeutic and educational experiences that center on emotional balance, nervous system regulation, and the freedom to be one’s true self. He also curates community wellness gatherings that reconnect people to nature, play, and collective care, redefining wellness as something we build together rather than consume.

At the heart of his work is a belief that healing and thriving are not luxuries, but rights, and that every family deserves the conditions to rest, flourish, and live whole.
