April Watson has worked in US healthcare for more than 20 years and is the Director of Learning for the Health Plan of San Mateo, a nonprofit Medi-Cal organization whose members are the most vulnerable people living in San Mateo County, California. April began her career working in Latin America and Africa for an organization supporting the integration of health and microfinance. It was in that work where she was introduced to Global Learning Partners and the transformational power of dialogue education. It has influenced her work ever since.Â
