Andi Waisman (M.S., Ed.) has a Masters degree in Education and has been working in the field of community education since 1981. She has directed the Education Departments of several family planning agencies (Planned Parenthood of Central Massachusetts, Pro Health in Fitchburg, the AIDS Project of Southern Vermont….) She has coordinated education programs for elementary school students, those at highest risk for HIV, women hoping to find jobs in the trades, agency directors developing capacity for their organizations, and for students at area colleges. She currently coordinates the Healthy Living Department at LifePath in Greenfield, MA, facilitating health education workshops for older adults with chronic conditions. All the while, she has remained a committed learner and practitioner of education strategies that respect and empower adult learners.
