OUR VISION
We envision a world in which deep learning drives our collective well-being.
OUR MISSION
We pursue positive change through the use of a proven learning-centered approach.
OUR COMMITMENT
We work with diverse learning communities to realize a fair, equitable and inclusive world.
GOALS OF OUR WORK
We believe strongly that using a learning-centered approach helps organizations make a positive change in the world. We also know that change is greater when there is more than one individual within an organization on a learning-centered journey.
We engage and support a highly skilled and diverse network of learning-centered specialists who work within their own organization or with us on engaging projects that forward our mission. We certify change-makers within organizations to be able to teach our courses. We provide ongoing development and mentoring support to those practitioners and teachers who are eager to advance their skills in a learning-centered approach.
OUR CORE VALUES
We honor PROVEN adult learning principles.
We nurture COLLABORATIVE relationships.
We foster PURPOSEFUL DIALOGUE.
We engage ALL VOICES.
We provide PRACTICAL tools and approaches.
We strive for realistic IMPACT.
We focus on INDIVIDUALS as well as the SYSTEMS in which they live and work.
OUR ORIGINS
Global Learning Partners was founded in the work of Jane Vella and the Jubilee Popular Education Center in 1981. As a training entrepreneur, Jane took the best of her international experiences and study of formal and participatory education and developed a series of training courses. The principles and practices of Dialogue Education™ outlined then are the foundation of today’s GLP courses. Read more about the steps on our journey >
In 1996, Jubilee became Global Learning Partners, Inc. In 2000, as Jane was committed to research and retirement, Peter Noteboom and Connie Kuipers assumed ownership of GLP. Jane is honored as the Founder of Global Learning Partners. Check out Our Team to see how the team behind GLP has evolved and expanded.
