Sophia is the Director of Learning and Development in the Metro Boston Area in the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. Her passion is to contribute to people’s growth and improvement. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker and has worked in a variety of settings such as child welfare and adoption agencies and mental health clinics. She has over 20 years of experience in professional development and currently trains on a variety of topic areas including diversity, worker safety and mental health. Sophia earned her master’s degree in social work from Boston University.
