Erika Rice (she/her) has been working with non-profit health organizations for over 20 years.  Since 2013, Erika has been an educator with the Alzheimer Society in Ontario.  The Alzheimer Society is committed to providing education designed using the Dialogue Education™ framework, including U-First!®, First Link® Learning Series and Taking Control of our Lives.  As Education Coordinator, Erika facilitated these programs with people living with dementia, care partners and health care providers, finding inspiration in the learning that happens in a learning-centred approach.

In July 2021, Erika began a new position as Coordinator, Online Learning and KTE with the Alzheimer Society of Ontario and is excited to collaborate with her peers to create and adapt education programs for online delivery.  Global Learning Partner’s Intentional Design Online was a fantastic learning opportunity to support this work.

Erika has a Professional Masters of Education from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.  She also has a Bachelor of Music (from many years ago!) and enjoys playing with community music groups.
