Lessons Learned

This past week I learned two big lessons. I read PUTTING AWAY CHILDING THINGS A Tale of Modern Faith by Marcus Borg. This novel features a professor who is using Dialogue Education beautifully. I suspect she does not know about Global Learning Partners or Jane Vella! She is brilliant! If you can find this book, know you have a few hours of sheer enjoyment and inspiration. Then, thanks to Sue Button, I saw WAITING FOR SUPERMAN a film featuring my hero Geoffrey Canada, educator par excellence. This sad and sobering film – describing the state of education in the USA – reminded me why I am still “in harness” . We all must keep throwing a little mud at the wall, musn’t we?
