WE ENVISION a world in which deep learning
drives our collective well-being.
OUR PURPOSE is to help individuals and organizations to learn by
providing practical expertise in learning assessment, design,
facilitation and evaluation.
OUR MISSION is to enhance organizations by teaching and supporting
change-makers in a proven, learning-centered approach.
GOALS OF OUR WORK
We believe strongly that using a learning-centered approach helps organizations making a positive change in the world. We also know that change is greater when there is more than one individual within an organization on the learning-centered journey. GLP is beginning a new initiative to grow beyond training and certifying individuals within organizations to support and certify Learning-Centered Organizations.
We plan to engage and support organizational change-makers to tackle real business problems through a thoughtful and attentive focus on developing learning-centered behaviors at all levels of the organization: from leadership to the frontline, both internally and externally, from hiring to performance reviews to program development. Grow with us on this learning-centered journey!
OUR CORE VALUES
We honor core adult learning principles, including: RESPECT, INCLUSION and AUTHENTICITY.
We shift the focus from teaching to DIALOGUE-BASED LEARNING.
We provide PRACTICAL tools and systematic approaches.
We nurture COLLABORATIVE relationships.
We engage every INDIVIDUAL VOICE and foster PURPOSEFUL DIALOGUE.
We are IMPACT-FOCUSED, making our client’s goals our goals.
We are PRINCIPLES-DRIVEN and EVIDENCE-BASED.
Global Learning Partners was founded in the work of Jane Vella and the Jubilee Popular Education Center in 1981. As a training entrepreneur, Jane took the best of her international experiences and study of formal and participatory education and developed a series of training courses. The principles and practices of Dialogue Education™ outlined then are the foundation of today’s GLP courses.
In 1998 Jubilee became Global Learning Partners, Inc. In 2000, as Jane was committed to research and retirement, Peter Noteboom and Connie Kuipers assumed ownership of Global Learning Partners at that time. Jane is honored as the Founder of Global Learning Partners. View Our Team to see how ownership and management of GLP has evolved and expanded.
