Advanced Learning Design is a 3-day workshop which builds on the principles and practices of Dialogue Education™ introduced in Learning to Listen, Learning to Teach, and delves more deeply into the technical aspects of curriculum design, communication, and learning styles. You and the other participants will each bring a learning design—either one you’re already working on or one that you plan to create—and present it to the other participants for feedback.

This intensive 9-week online course uses the principles and practices of Dialogue Education to teach you how to design effective educational events online. Along with other dialogue education practitioners, you will work online on diverse learning tasks, using a variety of online tools. By the end of this course you will have answered this question: How can Dialogue Education be implemented in the online universe?

SURE-Fire Meetings is a lively two-day workshop in which you’ll use the principles of Dialogue Education to actively learn how to transform your meetings into more dynamic, productive and enjoyable experiences for everyone involved. Through this course, you’ll use one of your own upcoming meetings as the basis for designing a truly collaborative and engaging session that will have real and lasting meaning for your participants. In addition to coming away with a strong meeting design you can immediately use, you’ll also leave the workshop with more confidence and valuable skills in meeting facilitation and evaluation.

This two-day course is especially relevant for trainers, teachers and facilitators of dialogue-based learning events and meetings. This highly participatory course allows you to actively learn and practice how to skillfully facilitate more creative, responsive, engaging, and meaningful learning events and meetings. You’ll strengthen your facilitation technique as well as your confidence, and will be able to put these skills into practice immediately.
