"The means is dialogue, the end is learning, the purpose is peace." ~ Founder Dr. Jane Vella
Advanced Learning Design is a 3-day workshop which builds on the principles and practices of Dialogue Education™ introduced in Learning to Listen, Learning to Teach, and delves more deeply into the technical aspects of curriculum design, communication, and learning styles. You and the other participants will each bring a learning design—either one you’re already working on or one that you plan to create—and present it to the other participants for feedback.
This intensive 9-week online course uses the principles and practices of Dialogue Education to teach you how to design effective educational events online. Along with other dialogue education practitioners, you will work online on diverse learning tasks, using a variety of online tools. By the end of this course you will have answered this question: How can Dialogue Education be implemented in the online universe?
In this dynamic four-day workshop, you’ll directly experience the core concepts and practices of Dialogue Education’s unique learner-centered system. DE is a proven method for shifting the focus from you as the teacher, trainer, or facilitator, to your learners by bringing them into active relationship with the content and the learning process. Through this workshop, you’ll be able to immediately apply the purposeful and engaging methods of DE in your teaching and curriculum design for more meaningful, lasting results.
