"The means is dialogue, the end is learning, the purpose is peace." ~ Founder Dr. Jane Vella
Debbie Lesure knew from an early age that she wanted to work in education. She spent many days as a child “working” alongside her grandmother, a Principal Teacher. A perpetual learner and collaborator, Debbie’s areas of experience, expertise, and passion lie in educational leadership, professional learning, strategic planning, mentoring, early literacy, special education, multi-tiered systems of support, and instructional practice. Debbie’s diverse background informs and energizes her approach to consulting and mentoring.
Working with teams, Debbie has designed, facilitated, supported, and consulted on presentations and strategic planning internal to her organizations, as well as for educators attending local and national conferences and meetings. In addition to Certified Dialogue Education Practitioner, Debbie is a certified Appreciative Inquiry Practitioner. She believes in the importance of appreciative powerful open questions. She supports the use of Dialogue Education Design for professional learning and SURE-Fire meeting design for effective meeting practices.
Debbie is happily married to her college sweetheart and lives in Vermont. She enjoys her time with family. She also enjoys hiking and skiing in the mountains, boating and swimming in the lakes, and reading and traveling for relaxation.
